Whether it's fluorescent lamps, high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps or even ballasts, our prepaid return boxes help give you the greenlight on recycling. Here's how it works: Additional Suggestions Do not mix lamp types or lengths in the same box or you will be billed as if the entire box contains the highest price lamp. For example: DO NOT mix straight fluorescents with U-tubes, shatter shields, or HIDs. Do not include unapproved waste. Only FedEx Ground is used for the box recycling program, do not call another carrier. Do not alter the shipping label. Keep the lamps and packaging dry. Handle the boxes with care. Do not use metal strapping to secure your shipment.
