A measure of "electrical pressure" between two points. The voltage specification of an incandescent lamp is the electrical "pressure" required to drive it at its designed point. The "voltage" of a ballast (e.g. 120 V) refers to the line voltage coming from the power source and is connected to the ballast.

Bulb Shape

The description of the general appearance of a lamp/bulb consists of a letter(s) followed by a number. The letter indicates the shape of the bulb and the number relates to the diameter of the bulb in eighths of an inch. For example, a common household bulb is the A-19. The bulb is "A" shape and the diameter would be nineteen 8ths of an inch, or 2 3/8".

Fit my makeup mirror !

Had a hard time locating this bulb for my discontinued makeup mirror The Website for the mirror didn't even address the issue of replacement of this bulb . This fit prefectly and was half the price of similar bulbs i found in local stores.

I use these bulbs in painting lights where a regular tubular bulb will not fit due to tight space.

Great Bulb

I got these for a chandelier in my dining room. They work fine, a little bit on the dim side, but the fixture only has 5 spots, and it is a room in between open spaces so it works ok.

We are using this bulb to keep the "Eternal Light" in our synagogue ON!

Q & A
Will this work in an electric tart light lamp. base size candelabra 25 watts- 120 volt your listed height and width already acceptable.

Jazzman Don

Based on the information you've provided, yes, it will work with your lamp.

Is this the kind of Bulb to be used in a makeup mirror. The information it gives on the mirror is... Type T Bulb, Max 40 watts or less.

Depending on the manufacturer, there are many different types of bulbs that are used in makeup mirrors. This product is a T-Type bulb and less than 40 watts. If an old bulb is available, we recommend measuring the length and diameter of the bulb. Also, it would be good to measure the diameter of the base to make sure the correct base type is purchased.

I used it to replace the bulb in a discontinued makeup mirror and worked great
