This indirect upper air UVC fixture is design to disinfect rooms that are routinely occupied. As air circulates around the room and moves into the upper areas this light reaches across to disinfect that space. The clean air will then circulate down bringing the new air into the UVC line of site. This unit should be mounted so that no UVC light can be seen by individuals within the room.

Energy Used
A rating, expressed in watts, to indicate the rate at which a lamp consumes energy. Also known as wattage value.
40 Watts
Input Volts | 120 |
Bulb Finish
The surface finish of a bulb, which may affect the quality of the light emitted.
Clear
Bulb Technology
The technology implemented by the bulb, e.g. incandescent, halogen, LED
UVC Fluorescent
Average Rated Life (hr)
A measurement of the average length of time, between first use and the point when 50% of the lamps tested have stopped functioning, , using an operating cycle of 3 hours on, 20 minutes off.
8000
Beam Angle (°)
The width of a light beam, expressed in degrees. The beam angle is often part of the ordering code for reflector lamps. For example, a 50PAR30/HIR/NFL25 is a 50-watt PAR30 narrow flood lamp with a beam angle of 25 degrees.

Number of Lamps | 2 |
Length (in)
Also referred to as "Maximum Overall Length" (MOL). For light bulbs, it measures the length of a light bulb, from the top of the bulb to the bottom of the base or pins and is typically expressed in inches. For light fixtures and ballasts, it applies to the total horizontal length of the item.
24
Height (in)
For ballasts and fixtures, height is the measurement of total vertical distance from the top of the product to the bottom expressed in inches.
8
Diameter (in)
Light bulbs: a measurement of a bulb's width taken at the widest point of the bulb. Fixtures: the measurement across the widest point of a circular fixture.
9
Contains Mercury (Hg)
Contains some level of the element Mercury. Typically, bulbs containing Mercury display the symbol 'Hg'.

UV Wavelength (nm)
UV wavelength measured in nanometers (nm). Determines the strength of the germicidal bulb. UVA 315-400nm, UVB 280-315nm and UVC under 280nm.
254
UV Irradiance (uW/cm2)
Measurement of the radiant power. Measured in watts per square centimeter at one meter distance. Helps to determine the amount of UVC energy upon a certain area.
30
Utilizes UVC
UVC is ultraviolet light, a component of the electromagnetic spectrum that falls in the region between visible light and X-Rays. It can be harmful if proper safety precautions are not followed.
