Bulbrite LED Filament Bulbs
LED Filament Bulbs From Bulbrite

These bulbs bring you the energy efficiency and savings of LED technology, combined with the traditional look and nostalgic feel of incandescent Edison bulbs. The warm glow and comforting aesthetic is perfect for creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere in restaurants, hotels, breweries, bars/lounges, and even your home.

These LED bulbs can be used as a main source of light in the right environment, or as accent lighting to the primary lighting source. They are also available in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit any light fixture.

Legacy lighting technologies, such as incandescent and fluorescent bulbs, have been the mainstay of household and commercial lighting for decades. Incandescent bulbs operate by heating a filament until it glows, emitting a warm light that is pleasing to the eye. However, these bulbs are notorious for their inefficiency, converting only about 10% of the energy they consume into light while the rest is lost as heat. Fluorescent bulbs, including compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), are more efficient than incandescents and last longer, but they contain small amounts of mercury, making disposal and environmental impact a concern.

Halogen light bulbs are a type of incandescent bulb that offer some improvements over traditional incandescents. They produce a brighter, crisper light that mimics natural light well. Halogen bulbs are also slightly more energy efficient than incandescents, lasting about two to three times longer. However, they are still less efficient than LED bulbs and generate more heat.

High-intensity discharge (HID) light bulbs are a powerful lighting solution that goes beyond the limitations of incandescent bulbs. Unlike incandescents that produce light through a heated filament, HID bulbs utilize an electric arc that ignites a gaseous mixture within a sealed tube. This arc generates a much brighter light, making HID bulbs ideal for large spaces like warehouses, stadiums, and parking lots. They also boast impressive energy efficiency, converting more electricity into light compared to traditional bulbs. However, HID bulbs have a longer start time to reach full brightness and may cast a slightly bluish hue. Additionally, they require special ballasts to regulate power, adding complexity to the installation process.

LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology represents a significant advancement in lighting. LEDs are highly energy-efficient, converting up to 90% of their energy into light, which drastically reduces electricity consumption and costs. They have an impressive lifespan, often lasting 25,000 hours or more, compared to 1,000 hours for incandescent bulbs and 8,000 hours for CFLs. Moreover, LEDs do not contain hazardous materials like mercury, making them a more environmentally friendly option. They are available in various color temperatures, providing a range of lighting options from warm to cool, to suit different settings and preferences. LEDs also offer greater durability and are less prone to breakage since they are made from solid-state components without fragile filaments or tubes.

Bulbs.com offers a wide selection of LED replacement light bulbs that will work in almost all applications, and still stocks some legacy technology lightbulbs and specialty bulbs for specific lighting projects.
