CRI differences among lamps are not usually visible to the eye unless the difference is more than 3-5 points.

An expression of the hue of the light emitted, measured in degrees Kelvin. Usually expressed by a four digit number followed by (k), such as 2700k. Some common Kelvin temperature benchmarks are 2700k (warm white), 3500k (neutral white), 4100k (cool white), 5000k (bright white), and 6500k (daylight).

Q & A
I have measured my expired circline bulb at 8.75 in diameter - will this bulb suffice as a replacement?

Hi Mike, Aside from diameter, there are also different bases for the circline bulbs. We carry both 8" and 9" bulbs with different style bases. For further assistance in selecting the right bulb, please feel free to email us at or call at 888-455-2800 Thanks.

Regarding 30 Watt, 9" Diameter Warm White T9 Circline Bulb by TCP Mine is 9 1/2" diameter outside and 8 1/4" diameter of the inside. So which one should I buy? Thanks

The diameter of a circline bulb is measured by the outside of the bulb. The 9" is the measurement you'll want.

Is the 9" diameter refer to the inside diameter, or the outside diameter, or the average of the two (diameter to center line of tube)?

The 9" diameter refers to the outside of a circline lamp.
