Color Rendering Index is an international system used to rate a lamp's ability to render object colors. CRI differences among lamps are not usually visible to the eye unless the difference is more than 3-5 points.

Some common Kelvin temperature benchmarks are 2700k (warm white), 3500k (neutral white), 4100k (cool white), 5000k (bright white), and 6500k (daylight).

Economical and Excellent Life

This is a low cost little bulb, but historically has always given me long life. In this cost range the main thing that I am concerned with is not having to reorder/replace bulbs frequently. This product has fit this requirement perfectly.

What I was expecting

Product worked well , everything is what was expected.

Great Value

I bought these along with some 8W 12-inch bulbs for under cabinet light fixtures that came with cool white bulbs, & looked out of place compared with the warm white lighting in the kitchen. These make the overall lighting in the kitchen look "balanced", & have performed just fine so far (about a month). I highly recommend them.

great under cabinet lighting

this light is used as under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. It provides a great light and also keeps my electrical draw down.

Short Life!

Satisfactory brightness and color. BUT, original GE lamps lasted approximately six years, and 4 out of 6 of these have failed in less than six months (same fixtures and operating conditions). Not a good buy at all
