An open charge point protocol (OCPP) unit gives you the flexibility to use any network provider. A non-OCPP unit means you are stuck with one particular network provider. You would be unable to change networks and are stuck with their pricing and service.
With this EvoCharge iEVSE Plus charger, you can connect directly to your WiFi or use cellular 4G-LTE.
Field Adjustable: The amperage on this unit can be field adjustable from 32A (7.7kW), 30A (7.2kW), 24A (5.7kW) and 16A (3.8kW). This is ideal when your current electrical panel does not have enough room to handle all 32amps.
There may be rebates and incentive money available in your area along with federal tax credits. In some locations, this could cover the full cost of the unit as well as the full cost of installation.
