Color Rendering Index is an international system used to rate a lamp's ability to render object colors. The higher the CRI (based upon a 0-100 scale) the richer and more accurately colors generally appear. CRI differences among lamps are not usually visible to the eye unless the difference is more than 3-5 points.

Some common Kelvin temperature benchmarks are 2700k (warm white), 3500k (neutral white), 4100k (cool white), 5000k (bright white), and 6500k (daylight).

Customer Reviews

Stay Calm And Light Up (or Down, if you prefer.)

We installed about forty of these DuaLED with SpaceWise over four small offices and two open floor plans in Marketing, Accounting, and Management. Everyone seems happy and some like to adjust their space and, thus, mood throughout the day using the remote. (Aside: Like the TV remote at home, people can get possessive and forgetful so buy an extra. A rotation of three is working for us and any of the remotes work with any of the fixtures.) In particular, our graphics department varies the overhead light depending on their task-less for computer design, more for print evaluation. Programming was a little more difficult than recording my favorite TV shows but nowhere near as complicated as upgrading to a new cell phone or laptop. The first (small) office took about a half hour to figure out but all others were only 5-10 minutes. The Philips Quick Start Guide is very helpful but not perfect. I suggest locking and unlocking between each step when setting the mode and light level(s.) A licensed electrician with a helper installed 42 fixtures in one full day plus a couple hours the next morning.
