Comments about Philips 100-300 Watt, 120 Volt PS25 Soft White 3-Way Bulb:

I received this bulb after ordering it on line faster than one that I had oredered from a lighting store in town. I was concerned that it would not fit, but it was perfect, and $2.00 less than the one that was ordered from the store. In the future I will order my bulbs from bulbs.com on line.

Just bought replacement for blub that had been in use 26 years. I was afraid I won't be able to find a replacement-but it is an exact match and burning brightly at all three levels.

I have a large, old fashioned pole lamp that only takes the large base, 3 way bulbs that have become impossible to find. Need to know if this bulb has the large base as the regular 3 way bulbs do not fit.

                A:

This bulb has a mogul screw base. The mogul base is larger than the standard screw base and measures approximately 1 1/2" in diameter.
