Comments about MaxLite DIMMABLE 60W Halogen Equivalent, ENERGY STAR Qualified, 50,000 Hour, 14 Watt, 120 Volt Warm White (3000K) LED 6" Recessed Downlight:

I am an LED lighting installer out of Campbell Ca. I have used this light for a few years now, and my clients love it. Some places have stopped selling it, and Maxlight bought this light up. It was designed for Bruck lighting and then was sold off. But this light is a wonderful LED can light for the home. It's only draw back is that it's a 60 degree beam spread, but that's still pretty good. Back in the day, 60 degree was a huge flood, but now with other LED recessed lights, 90 degree is the norm, but 60 is still very good. I highly recommend this light.

    • Q:

Does this fixtur have a set of metal clips that can be used to pin the fixture up onto drywayy alone, and in place of using the existing can light's internal trim holders. What kind of applications can it be installed in?

        A:

This product is meant to be installed inside a 6" recessed can by using the metal clips that come with the product. The clips are meant to "lock in" to the sides of the can. All of the LED recessed downlights that we currently offer are to be installed the same way. If you have further questions, please contact Customer Service at 888-455-2800
