We use in pump house to keep well from freezing on occasional -32 nights. Like the brass base. Found only one bulb broken in the case so they were well packed for shipping.

Incandescent are getting harder to find. They are not toxic like the florescent. And they light instantly.

I checked each and every bulb and with the exception of one being broken, all of them worked. 167 out of 168...pretty good results for bulbs at this price.

I like 100 watt bulbs that are incandescent. I do not want to be told by a totalitarian government what kind of light bulb I can or cannot use.

130 Volt, is that OK for regular household line use?

                  • Bulbs.com LS1 Certified Lighting Specialist

                    A:

This bulb can be used on 120 Volts. The bulb has a thicker filament since it's rated for 130V. The bulb when used in a 120V system will last longer however; the light output will be reduced by approximately 20%.
