  • Q:

How does perceived light output compare with a linear fluor. like F12T4/30K? I see lumens vary from 756 for the T4 bulb, to 140 for this LED fixture - is that a direct assesment of how bright they seem relative to each other?

      A:

We don't suggest that you try and compare light output (lumens) between two different types of lighting technology. That being said, it can be used as a guideline, but nothing more as they are so different. For this particular product, the given light output would be sufficient for residential use. It is less light output than your traditional fluorescent undercabinet, but will provide enough lumens for accent lighting.

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The fixture contains 48 LED's (Light-Emitting Diodes) that produce light, not an individual light bulb. The fixture is sealed and LED's are part of the fixture and cannot be taken out or replaced.
