                  compatible with GE T8-WW?

                    A:

Without knowing the part number or length and wattage of the GE product, it is hard to determine if this Philips bulb is compatible. The Philips is a T8 (1" diameter) fluorescent with a 6500K-color temperature. It appears that the GE product is warm white, color temperature typically 2700K to 3000K. The Philips product will be much brighter and emit light with blue tones.

                    A:

While this bulb has a light output similar to "daylight" it is not generally used for growing plants. We recommend using a bulb specifically for plant growth. Bulbs for plant growth applications can be found using the following link. http://www.bulbs.com/results.aspx?Ntt=plant
