A rating, expressed in watts, to indicate the rate at which a lamp consumes energy. Also known as wattage value.
The description of the general appearance of a lamp/bulb consists of a letter(s) followed by a number. The letter indicates the shape of the bulb and the number relates to the diameter of the bulb in eighths of an inch. For example, a common household bulb is the A-19. The bulb is "A" shape and the diameter would be nineteen 8ths of an inch, or 2 3/8".

Edwin Gaynor Brand Plastic G24q-1 Socket
Bottom Screw-down attachment.
1. Picture shown not too clear on my display, does this socket have four corner holes for screwing into a flat surface? what applications is this intended for: 110V, 220V, ballasted or ballast free applications?
how is ac wiring connected to the socket, i.e. socket has 2 or 3 screw-on terminals, socket has attached wiring for splicing to directt 110V ac source, etc..?
Thank you so much for the reply.
