Comments about MaxLite 30 Watt Incandescent Equivalent, 7 Watt, Spiral Warm White Compact Fluorescent Medium Base Bulb:

I have had good experiences with other Maxlite bulbs, and was hoping these would be similar--but instead were extremely disappointing. One did not work upon arrival, and the second only lasted six weeks, with only a few hours a day of use in a cold environment.

    • Q:

I have some lights that have covers on them and I would like to know why aren't these bulbs recommended in enclosed light fixtures?.

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

Due to the integrated ballast is included in the bulb it is not recommended that they be used in enclosed fixtures. If the bulb is used in an enclosed fixture that does not have proper ventilation, the heat will build up and affect the life and performance of the bulb.
