Comments about Bulbrite 40 Watt, 130 Volt Satin Thread Spun "Antique" Decorative Bulb:

I bought a 6 candle chandelier; I originally put 65 watt clear candle tip bulbs in it. The 65 watt clear bulbs were way to BRIGHT and hard on the eyes. My friend told me about the satin spun wrap bulbs so I ordered six 40 watt bulbs and they are just about perfect...Much softer on my eyes. I think I could have ordered the 65 watt bulbs satin spun wrap bulb and they would still be easy on my eyes. I am very happy with this product.

Can these be used base up in a ceiling fan?

          A:

Yes, incandescent lamps can be used in any position and this bulb is 130 volts which means it has a thicker filament and can withstand the vibrations of the ceiling fan better than a 120 volt bulb.
