  • Q:

I am trying to replace a bulb from a very large handheld camping spotlight. It looks just like this item but there are subtle differences. The specs on the bulb are: Philips Haolpower Halogen H4 12v 130/100w. Will this item work?

      A:

Providing the size and shape are the same as the current bulb, you should not have an issue going down in wattage. However, the bulb will not emit the same amount of light. We do offer an H4 lamp on our website that is 100W/80W. It's still less than the current bulb but will emit more light that this 60W/55W bulb. You will be able to find this item on the following link. http://www.bulbs.com/results.aspx?No=0&Ntt=h4.
