Greenlite non-dimmable Hybrid BR30 LED bulb that generates as much light as many 42 watt CFL bulbs. This bulb can be used with or without a ballast which means there's no need to buy an expensive ballast once the current ballast stops working. Simply bypass the ballast and install the same bulb to line voltage, saving more money over the life of the bulb. Replacing a CFL with an LED will create greater light output, less energy usage, and a longer life. These bulbs are likely to be found in retail stores, fitness clubs, nursing homes, etc. where the cool white color will illuminate areas for safety and provide a neat and clean feel.
Not recommended for use in fully enclosed fixtures because the heat buildup will shorten the life of the bulb.
