Greenlite has created a non-dimmable Hybrid BR30 LED bulb that generates as much light as many 42 watt CFL bulbs. This bulb can be used with or without a ballast which means no need to buy expensive ballasts once the current ballast dies, just cut the ballast out and connect the same bulb to line voltage, saving more money over the lifetime of the bulb. Replacing a CFL with an LED will create greater light output, less energy usage, and a longer life cycle. These bulbs are likely to be found in doctors’ offices, common areas, fast food restaurants, etc. the neutral white color creates a natural and comfortable atmosphere for customers. Use these when natural colors are needed. Not recommended for use in fully enclosed fixtures because the heat buildup will shorten the life of the bulb.
