Volts

A measure of "electrical pressure" between two points. The voltage specification of an incandescent lamp is the electrical "pressure" required to drive it at its designed point. The "voltage" of a ballast (e.g. 120 V) refers to the line voltage coming from the power source and is connected to the ballast.

Color Temperature (Kelvin)

An expression of the hue of the light emitted, measured in degrees Kelvin. Usually expressed by a four digit number followed by (k), such as 2700k. Higher temperatures indicate whiter, "cooler" colors, while lower temperatures indicate yellower, "warmer" colors. Some common Kelvin temperature benchmarks are 2700k (warm white), 3500k (neutral white), 4100k (cool white), 5000k (bright white), and 6500k (daylight).

Comments about Bulbrite 25 Watt Equivalent, 2 Watt 120 Volt Dimmable 2700K Warm White LED Decorative Filament Bulb:

One of the best features of this bulb is the short base that it has vs. other decorative LEDs. The majority of the bulb/filaments are showing, which enables the bulb to throw out more light. This bulb is comparable to a 25 watt clear incandescent decorative bulb for light output, and you'll realize greater than 90% energy savings vs. a 25 watt incandescent bulb. The average rated life of this bulb is 14,000 more hours vs. an incandescent, so you can enjoy this bulb much longer. If you were dimming an incandescent bulb with an older dimmer you may have to change the dimmer to a compatible one, such as Lutron's # SELV-300P-WH, to experience the full dimming of this product.
