I have 2 ceiling canisters in my office, where I installed these. Lighting is good.

When dimming, they are unequal in brightness, one dims quickly, the other slowly. When at full brightness and when dimmed all the way down, brightness is the equal.

Just as bright and you can't even tell its a LED. However, bulb burned out after 6 weeks and average time for this bulb being on was about 10 minutes a day. But I give bulbs.com stars for replacing it quickly so I'm giving it one more try. If it lasts then I will spend the money to replace others in my house.

These Bulbs are very bright, white, work well with dimmer. Very white with dimmer as compared to standard bulb which looks yellow when dimmed. I have been having issues with these bulbs burning out on the 4th day of general use. Bulbs.com has outstanding customer service and shipped replacement bulbs for free each time. Hoping was just a bad batch and trying some with new batch number now.

Comments about TCP 65 Watt Equivalent, 10 Watt, 120 Volt Dimmable 2700K Warm White LED BR30 Bulb:

I had bought these bulbs to replace the canned incandescent floodlights in my kitchen through a SoCal Edison promotion, which is how I selected them in the first place. The quality of the light from these bulbs is actually very good in my opinion, and gave off a warm light nearly indistinguishable from incandescents. Looking up at the bulb, it was not obvious that it was even an LED.

However, that is where my positive opinion of these bulbs ends. Of the 6 I installed, one of the bulbs was DOA at the time of install, and within the first week 3 more were dead. My house was built within the last 15 years, has fixtures appropriate for these types of lights, and there is no dimmer switch, though these bulbs are supposedly rated for it. A greater than 50% failure rate within the first week is not acceptable, so I cancelled my entire order of TCP bulbs. My opinion: Look elsewhere besides this manufacturer. As for me, I'm sending them all back.

Hi I recently asked a similar question on another bulb so I would like to ask a general question. For all LED bulbs either 120V or 12V, do the LED bulbs need to have UL approval for you to sell and for me to buy bulbs for my home? Also, does this BR30 bulb have UL approval?

There are LEDs on the market that are not UL or ETL rated, but we don't carry them. This TCP LED is UL rated.
