Q & A

Bulbrite non-dimmable 0.6 Watt C7 bright white LED bulb generates as much light as many 7 Watt traditional C7 decorative incandescent bulbs.

  • No lead or mercury means for easy disposal and a better environment

  • Saves 6.4 Watts in electricity
  • Very long life - Rated to still put out 70% as much light after 50,000 hours of operation as it does when brand new

Not recommended for use in fully enclosed fixture because heat buildup will shorten life. Do not “hot swap” this bulb. Turn off fixture before replacing existing bulb.

I had been using 4 W incandescent lamps in a difficult-to-reach ceiling-mounted socket. The lamps had a life of about 6-8 weeks in the duty-cycle. My obvious purpose was to avoid the gymnastics required to maintain service. So far, except for lower than expected -- but adequate -- luminescence, the lamp in use is meeting my expectations. An unexpected collateral benefit is the quality of the illumination provided by the device. It is entirely indirect, a space-filling, overarching diffused white light that is quite pleasant. Note that I have not used it for the holiday decoration purpose for which it is marketed.

I ordered these bulbs for my candle lights. I have 25 front windows and was disappointed to see the bulbs were two different colors. Some had a blue LED cast and others were white. They didn't match and looked terrible. I wish they would have been the same color. I called to see if I could get a box of all the same shade and was told I couldn't. I was looking forward to having long lasting bulbs but they didn't work out for me.

Comments about Bulbrite 7 Watt Replacement! 0.35 Watt, 120 Volt C7 Clear LED Holiday Bulb:

I was looking for an LED bulb for outdoor decorative fixture - 25 watt equivalent was a bit too strong - but as it turns out this 7 watt is a bit too weak. I figure about a 15 watt equivalent would be about right - but no such product exists with a candelabra base exists. :(

This bulb is listed as a cool white or 4100K. The light emitted has a blue tone. We currently do not have any warm white versions of this shape and wattage. We do offer some warm white or soft white (3000K) bulbs with the E12 candelabra base that may work. These can be found on our website.
