Comments about Philips Lighting Philips 30 Watt, 36 Inch T12 Daylight White Fluorescent Bulb:

I was looking for 36" flourescent bulbs for built in lighting in our kitchen and wanted bright white if available. I was surprised to learn that 3-foot bulbs are out of style and I could not find them locally -- even at [@] or [@] (even on their websites). Not only was I able to find the 36" length, but bulbs.com had a good selection including the bright white that I was looking for. They shipped right away and arrived quickly. They were well packed and although I only needed 4, I ordered 8 after the experience of not being able to find them locally and not wanting to be without if an when any of the first 4 burns out.

Do these fluorescent bulbs have a shelf life?
            Asked on 2/8/2012 by Anonymous

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

Essentially there is no shelf life for fluorescent tubes. The product should be kept in a dry, cool location. If the product is exposed to moisture, dust or temperature fluctuations, it may affect the performance and light output of the bulb.
