Comments about Philips Lighting Philips 15 Watt, 18 Inch T8 Bright White Fluorescent Bulb:

I've always been a fan of incandescent lighting, i.e. low color temperature and high CRI.
For several years I used very warm tubes in my Dazor desk lamp, with a 2700K CCT and a 85 CRI.

I decided to switch to another philosophy and try high-CRI fluorescent lighting: the tint of these Philips Natural White tubes is amazing, I love it and forget that it's cool white. The 92 CRI and 5000 CCT mimic natural white pretty well so that you forget that it is artificial white.

The minor con is that 60Hz flickering a slightly more noticeable than with other tubes if you have a magnetic ballast -- but since any fluorescent tube flickers with such as ballast, this is not a real con.
