Comments about Philips Lighting 15 Watt, 24 Inch T8 Cool White Fluorescent Bulb:

I needed an unusual size and unusual wattage; the electrician doubted I could find the bulb and recommended replacing the fixture. A web search led me quickly to you. This is the first time I've had to replace bulbs since the fixture was installed 10 years ago. I wish the color of the light were warmer, but that is a small complaint about a bulb that solved a big problem.

That would depend on the configuration of your ballast for the fixture. Please contact Customer Service at 888-455-2800 for further assistance.

        • Q:

          Hello,

Why is this 15 Watt, 24-inch fluorescent bulb so high ($11.99 ea.)? Gosh, when looking at any of the other sizes, they cost less than $5 each. Is there a different brand I could use that doesn't cost so much? Then, having to add shipping and state taxes on top of this price makes matters worse. With everything factored in, it's costing me $33 for two bulbs! I'm thinking it would be cheaper, in the long run, to replace the entire unit. Appreciate any recommendations you can make. Thank you.

            A:

It's most likely because Philips is a premium brand. We carry other options in 17 and 18 watt versions. What is the max. wattage for your fixture/ballast? Please contact Customer Service at 888-455-2800 for further assistance.
