Comments about Philips Lighting Philips FluxStream EZ Non-dimmable 42W 4' LED Linear Strip, 4000K:

Put up 16 of these to light our community theater stage for work lights.
They were easy to install, brightened up the work area so that we do not have to turn on the halogen stage lighting (500watts per bulb) in order to build sets and rehearse.

    • Q:

Notes indicate "1" spacing between luminaires required for access to electrical...". Does this mean these cannot be installed end-to-end?
Asked on 8/21/2015 by Fred from phoenix AZ

      1 answer

They can be installed end-to-end, but if you need to access the inside of the fixture for any reason you'd need to remove the fixture to access the electrical components.

    • Q:

The description says, "Ideal for installation in refrigerated areas down to 32°F. Maximum ambient temperature is 77°F" Does this mean the maximum heat the fixture creates is 77deg, or that the fixture can't be operated if the room temperature is above 77deg? My garage (South Louisiana) regularly gets hotter than that.
Asked on 5/14/2015 by Just Asking

      1 answer

The fixture shouldn't be operated in a room temperature above 77 degrees.
