I use it when I walk the dog at night. It is fine and so far I have no complaints. I haven't had it long enough to know how long the batteries will last and that is of interest to me.
I purchased three of them and gave two as gifts. They were very gratefully received.
very bright, concentrated light beam, not broad but works for what I need. Under car, behind stuff in garage, outdoor shed, backyard.
Nice, but battery load-up confusing
It took me embarrassingly many tries to put the batteries in right. I would not want to change the batteries in the dark.
That said, it's light and small enough for your pocket, while putting out a quite impressive amount of light.
Use in car and in backpack.
Small, inexpensive, simple
would be nce if light level was adjustable
Super Big Light/Small Little Unit
I buy these little lights by the dozen and have passed many out to family and friends. Great, small, light, bright, pocket size, quite simply a usuable, affordable, logical, usable, product with no negatives that I can see.
We put one in each nightstand and one in each car and have a few to spare.

Q & A
- Please advise me what sized battery does it use?
This flashlight uses three AAA batteries.
- Can you unscrew the top of the flashlight close to where the bulbs are?
The flashlight does not unscrew at the top. It only unscrews at the bottom where the batteries go in.
- What kind of switch does this have--one which you can turn on or off or one which has to be pressed and held down?
This has an on/off button switch on the end of the flashlight. The switch does not need to be continuously held down to power the flashlight.
The switch is opposite the light. Push it "on"; push it "off". Works great!
- how long and wide is the flashlight?
The length of the flashlight is 3 1/2" and the diameter is approximately 1".
