Comments about Bulbrite 60 Watt, 130 Volt A19 Safety Coated Rough Service Bulb:

We use this product in an MRI. We needed to find a 60 watt bulb that was shatterproof and had a brass base. The brand we were using before stopped making them turns out this brand actually has a longer life than the bulb we used to use.

This lamp has a special coating that makes it shatter resistant. Typically, the coating is either silicone or Teflon. The coating on the lamp will contain any glass particles, should it break.
