Comments about Bulbrite 40 Watt, 130 Volt A19 Yellow Bug Light:

Our illustrious government insists we, the people convert to the new light standard disregarding that "we" know better and the new bulbs are dangerous and have mercury content. I, as a thinking individual prefer the old, incandescent bulbs and intend to replace and use them wherever possible!

Comments about Bulbrite 40 Watt, 130 Volt A19 Yellow Bug Light:

I am disappointed in the color of the light emitted from these bulbs, as it's ORANGE instead of the yellow I expected. I wanted the effect of a gold glow, but I got Halloween orange. Otherwise the bulbs are fine.

      Gets brighter with time

Comments about Bulbrite 40 Watt, 130 Volt A19 Yellow Bug Light:

I use these as bug lights on my front porch. For some reason the CFLs we tried didn't last as long as they should. 40 w bulbs seemed like a good compromise. At first the bulbs seemed much too dim and gave off an orange light. However over a week or so they have gotten brighter, more yellow and are now just right. Guess the coating fades over time so they make it darker to begin with.
