Comments about Overdrive 75 Watt Incandescent Equivalent, 23 Watt, Wet Location Rated PAR38 Bright White Compact Fluorescent Bulb:

I use the product in an under-eave fixture to light my patio. The brightness, after warming up, is adequate. I have not attempted to measure electrical savings or heat output. I initially ordered three bulbs, then added four more when they were on sale. Of the seven purchased, two have failed (burnt out).after around six months of being on around eight hours per night; far short of the 10,000 hours advertised and expected. I must add that Bulbs.com, upon hearing my complaint, is replacing the two defective bulbs.

Comments about Overdrive 75 Watt Incandescent Equivalent, 23 Watt, Wet Location Rated PAR38 Bright White Compact Fluorescent Bulb:

We are happy with the white (cool) light they provide, the reduction in heat dissipation and the energy savings; however, the quality is not up to par. We have had inoperable bulbs right out of the box and we get a high failure rate. All of our purchases after th original one are to replace those that have burnt out. We need better quality.
