Comments about Megalight, Inc. 60W Incandescent Equivalent. 13 Watt, 120 Volt Daylight White CFL Bulb:

The thread lenght, of base, is shorter than 'normal', have one ceiling fixture that the bulb would not make electrical contact. Works in other fixtures, ceiling and table.

Comments about Megalight, Inc. 60W Incandescent Equivalent. 13 Watt, 120 Volt Daylight White CFL Bulb:

It was not easy to find a replacement bulb for my fish tank, which needs 6500K light. This is the best fit I can find and it's brighter than my old 10W. But I am not sure about the 60W incandescent equivalent and how it was done.
It's been used for about 200 hrs and too early to comment on the 10,000 hr life. Hope it will last that long.

          A:

This product is not a three-way bulb and should not be used in a three-way fixture or socket. We do offer three-way compact fluorescents on our website and they can be found using the following link. http://www.bulbs.com/Compact_Fluorescent_Screw--in/results.aspx?Ntt=3-way

          A:

Not well. You might be able to get the light to come on, but not at the variable light brightness levels. 3-way lamps will require a 3-way bulb.
