Browse the bulbs.com catalog by clicking on the "FIND Bulbs and More!" button located near the center of the home page. Then select from the three major product categories, Light Bulbs, Ballasts or Fixtures. You can continue to use the category image buttons to identify your product until you have reduced the number of matching products to a manageable few. At any time during this process you can narrow your search by using the product feature navigation in the left hand column. For example, if you know your bulb has a medium screw base (regular household bulb) you can select Medium (E26) from the list of bases. Only products with a Medium base will appear in list of Matching Products that are returned.

Search Enter a product name, product number or product attribute into the search box. You can search within the list of matching products by entering a refinement word into the search block and performing a "Search Within". Begin a new search by clicking on the button for "New Search" or by returning to the home page. At any time during your search or catalog browsing, you have the option to refine the list of matching products by clicking on one of the category image buttons or you can use the product feature navigation in the left hand column.

Featured Product Links Click on Household Bulbs, Energy Saving Bulbs or any of the featured products. Household bulbs will bring you to bulbs most frequently used in your home, Energy Saving Bulbs will provide a selection of bulbs that are generally used to replace older incandescent or halogen technology with more advance fluorescent or high intensity discharge (HID) technology.

Sort By This website feature is available on any screen where a list of Matching Products has been returned by a browse or search into the catalog. The "Sort By" appears as a pull down located on the same line as the number of Matching Products. Using the "Sort By" feature enables the user to sort the list by a significant product attribute such as wattage, base type, brand, voltage, diameter or length.

To Purchase your bulbs, ballasts or fixtures

  1. After you find your bulbs, ballasts, etc., enter the quantity you wish to purchase into the box provided and click on "Add to cart".
  2. You will be prompted to provide your E-Mail Address and a Password under the heading "Create a New Account". Click on the "Continue" button.
  3. Upon entering and item into your shopping cart and then registering, you will be returned to your previous search or catalog screen and your Shopping Cart (upper right hand corner of the screen) will have been updated with the item you intend to purchase.
  4. You can continue to shop for products and place them into your shopping cart until you are ready to complete your purchase by checking out.
  5. To check out click on the "Click Here to Check Out" button or the "Check Out" link in your Shopping Cart.
  6. An Order Summary will appear and provide you with an opportunity to edit your purchase quantity or delete an item. You can also continue to shop if you have forgotten an item.
  7. When you have completed ordering click on the "Check Out" button at the bottom of the Order Summary screen.
  8. Complete the Billing and Account Information. If you are purchasing with a credit card, this information must be exactly the same as the address that appears on your credit card billing statement. Fields marked with a red * are required fields. If you are shipping to the same address as your billing address, click on the box following the words "Use Same For Shipping Address" located near the bottom of the screen. Click on the "Continue" button and you will be directed to the Shipment Summary screen. 
  9. If you elect to ship to a different shipping address you can add a new address on the Ship To Information screen by using the pull down menu located next to the words "Select A Shipping Address From Address Book". Or if you selected to use the same address for both billing and shipping, you can proceed to the next screen by clicking on the "Continue" button.
  10. Proceed by selecting a shipping method on the Shipment Summary screen. Choose from ground or expedited shipping options and your order will be automatically recalculated. Click on the "Continue" button to proceed.
  11. Enter your credit card information in the space provided on the Payment Information screen and click on the "Complete Order" button. (customers who wish to pay with a check should contact Customer Service toll free at (888) 455-2800.
  12. You will then see a confirmation page with an order number. This will let you know your order has been received and is on its way. You will be sent an email copy of this confirmation.
  13. You will receive an email letting you know when your order has shipped. The email will include a tracking number and carrier for you use to track the expected delivery of your order.
To add a bulb, ballast or fixture to your BulbTrack® for future orders

Identify the product you wish to purchase. To add the item to your BulbTrackTM, click on the "Save to BulbTrack" link (instead of adding the item to your shopping cart). The screen will reload bringing you to your BulbTrack including all items previously stored as well as the item you just saved.

To Reorder using BulbTrack®

Log on to your account by clicking on the "My BulbTrack" link in the upper right hand corner of the homepage. Products you have ordered in the past or have placed into your BulbTrack will appear. Reorder by updating the quantity you wish to order and clicking on the "Buy Now" button.
