Immediately following the announcement of its first profitable quarter in December of 2003, plans were set into motion to bring 2-day ground service to every customer in the U.S by July 4th. The first phase of the initiative, completed on May 24th, was the establishment of the Ohio facility. The second phase, already in progress, will place a third distribution center on the west coast by Independence Day.

The Ohio facility will house 300 of the most popular commercial lamps and ballasts and speed delivery of full case orders to customers throughout the mid-Atlantic, mid-west and sun-belt states. bulbs.com’s Massachusetts distribution center will continue to ship full case orders to customers in the northeast as well as provide world-wide service for all less-than-case orders.
