I am using this bulb in glass light fixtures over my wet bar area. The bulb is just bright enough for this area and it casts a beautiful shadow on the ceiling. It is really a nice looking bulb and is perfect for this area.

Bought this to keep the light out of the eyes while playing cards. I have a low hanging light at the center of the table. It's great, no blinding light in your eyes. But it casts a ring around the center of the card table. A little distracting but worth it i guess. I will buy more.

Have a 4-light ceiling fan over a granite island, which reflects light well, in my kitchen. These mirrored bulbs make it easier on the eyes to sit under the fan/lights.
