Comments about Philips Lighting Company 60 Watt, 120 Volt K19 Frosted Reflector Bulb:

I use these in kitchen mini pendants as well as torchiere floor lamps. These fixtures have frosted glass shades and a regular bulb is too bright to comfortably look at. The director bulbs allow for plenty of light on the work surface or walls/ceiling, while softening the light coming out the side, without the "line" of a standard reflector bulb.
