Comments about Philips Lighting Company 18 Watt, 4-Pin Cool White Long Single Twin Tube CFL Bulb:

I bought the wrong product. When I saw yuour add it stated that the item had a 4 prong connection, I thought there was only one type but there was 2. You only had the 4 prong horizontal connection and I needed the four prong square connection. As far as I can determine the item I need is no longer manufactured and therefore I will get the lamp rewired to accomodate the item you sent me. I am thoroughly satified with your service and would both use it again and recommend it to anyone looking for lamp bulbs.

        • Q:

I recently purchased a Normandy model HP3-1384 desk top crafter's lamp, which did not have a bulb. A label on the lamp says to use an 18 watt, 120V type PL bulb and it requires a four prong bulb and the space is large enough to accommodate a twin bulb of approximately 9 inches long. I'm trying to determine if this bulb will work.

            A:

There is not much information to be found on the lamp. This makes it difficult to determine if this bulb would be suitable. This bulb is a plug-in compact fluorescent, 18 watts and is less than 9" in length. The only real question is the base type needed. We recommend checking the socket to check the pin configuration. If the pin configuration of the socket is a straight row, then this bulb would be correct to use in the lamp.
