Comments about Philips 17 Watt, 120 Volt Dimmable LED A-21 Lamp:

The LED lamp produces warm light just like regular incandescent and is very, very bright. There is maybe a .5 second delay when turned on, and when left on, the unit does get very warm - but nowhere near as hot as a regular 75w lamp. I do not hear any buzz/noise with mine. Because it will last basically forever, I save money with service labor cost as well as power and unit replacement value.*Impulse buy from [@] (same price) to test in my house; regular Bulbs.com customer for work. I will be buying these kinds of lamps from now on. Very recommended!

Can this light bulb be used in a can light fixture.?

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Provided the bulb will fit properly and the fixture has proper ventilation, it can be used. If heat is allowed to build up in the fixture, it will affect the performance and life of the LED bulb.
