      this is a very bright white light

      it takes about 1/2 second to come on, but its almost at full light output when it does come on and there is not really a wait for it to "warm up".

          One concern I have is that 1 of the 6 of these burned out within about 1 month. I hope it was only a fluke. It would upset me if they are all short-lived.
