Comments about TCP 100W Incandescent Equivalent. 27 Watt, 120 Volt Cool White CFL Bulb:

I have placed these bulbs in individual recessed VENTILATED ceiling can fixtures. They will be saving me 73 watts per bulb in electricity usage as compared with incandescents. The 4100K cool-white is my favorite color and is hard to find in CFL bulbs. Thanks, Bulbs.com, for having them for sale. The only con that I have about these bulbs is that they take about one minute to come up to full brightness. I reckon that it's that way with just about all CFLs though. One more thing - if these bulbs seem to be too bright when you first try them out, don't worry about it. They will lose a noticeable amount of this brightness after about the first 100 hours of operation, and this is normal.
