Q & A

Array Lighting Brand 1 Watt DIMMABLE LED lamp replaces many bi-pin halogen capsule lamps.

  • Perfect to use anywhere you are using a 12 volt capsule with G4 bi-pin base

  • 3000K "Warm White" color closely replicates the color of halogen capsules

  • No lead or mercury means easy and environmentally safe disposal

  • 60 Lumens initial light output is comparable to many lower wattage halogen capsules

  • VERY long life - rated to still put out 70% as much light after 20,000 hours of operation as it does when brand new

CHECK PRODUCT FIT BEFORE INVESTING IN MANY - Product May Not Fit in Your Fixture.  Also, NOT RECOMMENDED for use in enclosed fixtures because heat buildup can shorten life.  DO NOT "hot swap" this lamp.  Turn off fixture before replacing existing bulb.

Comments about Array Lighting 1 Watt, 12 Volt DIMMABLE LED Warm White Bi-Pin Bulb.:

A friend bought these bulbs for his motorhome and recommended them to me, my main reasons for using the bulbs are for energy saving and longer life. With the large amount of halogen bulbs in motorhomes both of those factors really add up. The energy saving is real and makes a big difference, as for the longer life I need much more time. Although these are the warmest bulbs we could find the are still very white and therefore a little harsh when directly compared to halogens. It takes a little time but you will get used to it, as well as the increased light you will get in your room. These bulbs dim pretty much all the way down which is excellent for creating a more subdued late lighting environment.

  • Replace 10W RV bulb

Comments about Array Lighting 1 Watt, 12 Volt DIMMABLE LED Warm White Bi-Pin Bulb.:

[...] excellent build quality. I replaced eight 10W capsule bulbs in my RV. The replaced areas are three over the entertainment center and five over the couch and kitchen prep area. Even though the LED's have one watt of power, they appear brighter than the high energy bulbs. The light of the 3000 is warm. I did not order the 5000 as the light would appear harsh and the 6500 would appear almost blue. The use of LED's in our RV greatly reduce the power used during dry camping and save big dollars in excess running of the generator. Wish Bulbs.com carried more LED's for RV applications. Another factor with LED's is that they are so much cooler than T4 halogen bulbs. Hope this helps others as I am amazed at the light output. Will know more, in the future, how durable they are; until then, I am a happy camper.
