  • Q:

    1) Why does bulb SKU: 203711 cost so much more than SKU: 212142 when they appear to be identical? Is SKU: 212142 on sale?

    2) I need a SKU: 212142 type bulb that is dimmible. I have several outdoor fans that have dimmible lights? Do you have a dimmible bug light?

      A:

The 212142 was a special buy and is on our website as a "hot deal" item. Once the inventory is gone, the 203711 will be the only lamp we will have available in this shape and wattage. We do not have any dimmable CFL bug lights. If a dimmable bulb is needed, then we would only be able to offer an incandescent bug light. There is another alternative that is more expensive. LED's bulbs do not attract bugs. We do offer some on our website that have an incandescent equivalent wattage of 40-60 watts and they are dimmable. They are more expensive but they will last longer than a CFL bulb and will still save in energy costs. The LED products can be found using the following link. http://www.bulbs.com/LED_A--Style/results.aspx.
