The bulb is "A" shape and the diameter would be nineteen 8ths of an inch, or 2 3/8".

Comments about Plusrite 35 Watt, 120 Volt MR16 Halogen Flood FMW Bulb:

Excellent value lamp with adequate power to light small objects from a distance of about 6'. Not as concentrated as a Spot lamp but more focused than a flood. Very useful lamp. Really like that little light comes out the back of the reflector so you don't have a lot of stray light.

Comments about Plusrite 35 Watt, 120 Volt MR16 Halogen Flood FMW Bulb:

one light bulb got blown out as soon as I replaced one. The quality isn't great, and it uses lot of energy. But since I need this specific fitting, it is the cheapest I can find. Last batch, I was changing light bulb every 2 weeks. Since I used the lower wattage, there were less blow outs and it is lasting longer. It produces a beautiful lighting, but the cost of bulb is hinderance.
