A:
This product may be used outdoors in a protected fixture. The extenders should not be directly exposed to moisture or the elements. This item will extend the bulb by approximately 5/8".

Is it safe to stack 2 or 3 of these together on each socket of a 9 light chandelier?

A:
We do not recommend stacking socket extenders. This will affect the performance of the bulb and fixture. Since there is electricity running through the fixture, there is the potential of a hazard.

Q:
How much does this extender extend. I am trying to replace an incandescent with an LED. Because the LED has a wider base it does not reach the bottom of the socket. This product looks like it may solve my problem.

The socket extender measures 1 1/4" in length. This will extend the bulb by approximately 5/8".
