                Bulbs.com is the only place we can find these from where we live and our main source for buying "bug-light" bulbs. We used these adapters to change our white light dusk to dawn lights to "bug-lights".

                      My home was built in 1962 and in the dining room, the overhead light is set up to use a mogul bulb. By using this will I be able to use a standard sized bulb? Also, what wattage is safe to use?

                        Yes, this will allow you to screw in a medium based bulb to the adapter and then screw into your mogul based fixture. The wattage will depend on the maximum wattage of your fixture.

                        Per the manufacturer, this adapter cannot be used with three-way bulbs or lamps. There are socket adapters available that can be used with three-way lamps however, Bulbs.com does not carry them at this time.
