They are excellent. Natural daylight lamps change the mood. It is nice on the eyes when all your work in front of you is illuminated and my persona changes from this dreary wintery blah....to a vibrant youthful optimistic springtime around the corner kinda yee-hah if you know what i mean. Its all from the lighting!

What is the foot candle spec for this particular bulb?

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

There is no spec or easy formula to determine foot-candles. There are many factors involved such as number of lamps, ceiling height, fixture type, lens type and light loss. Without this information it very difficult to determine foot candles. If more information is needed, please contact our customer service department at 888-455-2800.

        A:

The color of light emitted from this Daylight White bulb is similar to natural daylight (sunlight & blue sky around noon-time). It will appear brighter than a 5000K bulb because of the bluer tones but if the light output was measured with a light meter they would essentially be the same. In regards to which one is better, that is really a matter of personal preference. Some may think the 6500K bulb has a harsh light output. We suggest contacting one of our commercial sales reps at 888-455-2800 to determine the best color temperature for this application.
